Job summary

West Monroe is seeking an Analyst to support our Consumer and Industrial Products practice, based in Costa Rica. The Experienced Consultant will provide a data-driven view of retail/consumer/industrial businesses to identify revenue growth and cost opportunities.

You will work with internal and external teams to deliver value, synthesize insights for executive audiences, and apply strong Excel/SQL/Python analytical skills to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data through a hypothesis driven approach to generate insights that inform conclusions and support decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience using critical thinking skills to develop novel frameworks to solve unstructured problems.
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop concise material for an executive level audience.
• Fundamental understanding of key financial statements and strong overall business acumen.
• High proficiency in Excel required.
• Experience with relevant analytical tools and/or coding languages preferred (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, R, Python).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; with an in-depth knowledge of project planning and delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to be able to work with clients at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work remotely with US Project teams.
