Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Research Associate 1 in the Process Analytics & Services function. This hands-on laboratory role supports analytical testing and characterization across process development, early clinical, late‑stage, and commercial programs.

The selected candidate will execute GxP and non‑GxP methods, document results, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong lab execution and data interpretation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, CE, ELISA).
• GxP knowledge and data integrity understanding.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical testing to support process development and lifecycle programs.
• Document results in accordance with GMP/GLP and internal procedures.
• Support method qualification, optimization, validation, and transfer under supervision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain equipment/readiness.
