Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks an entry-level chemist to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products, including chromatography, with minimal supervision. You will prepare samples, set up analytical methods, transfer protocols, document GMP-compliant work, and maintain equipment.

A Bachelor's in chemistry and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels).
• Run instrumentation independently including chromatographic systems.
• Prepare samples for analysis and perform instrument runs with minimal supervision.
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis; execute method transfer protocols.
• Document work for GMP compliance and maintain lab records.
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.
