Avantor is seeking an Associate Scientist to optimize our Biopharma/R&D organization. You will join a multidisciplinary team to develop new products, address analytical challenges, and define product quality.

The role involves hands-on wet chemistry and analytical techniques in a cGMP context at our Bridgewater, NJ site. The ideal candidate holds MSc or BSc with strong experience in analytical chemistry, HPLC/UPLC, GC methods, and data reporting, and is eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Education: MSc or BSc in organic/inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, chemical engineering and analytical chemistry or relevant scientific discipline.
• MSc degree with 3+ years of industrial hands-on experience in analytical method development and product characterization; BSc with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analytical testing for product characterization and process optimization under supervision.
• Interface with project teams to support objectives and address customer complaints related to product/process performance.
• Support development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods to QC labs for release testing and stability studies.
