Job summary

Glaukos Corporation in California is seeking an Analytical Scientist within the Analytical Technologies of the Applied Research department to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for drug product and substance, supporting new product development and clinical studies. The role conducts testing for release and stability, analyzes data and trends, and communicates findings in meetings and reports.

Must have strong analytical chemistry background and experience with GLP/GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Development, validation and transfer of analytical methods for drug product and drug substance.
• Hands-on testing for release and stability studies and data interpretation.
• Experience in ISO/GLP/GMP compliance is preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years related experience; or 1–2 years with Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods in an analytical lab under supervision.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot analytical equipment (HPLC/UPLC/FTIR/UV-Vis) per GLP/GMP.
• Troubleshoot investigations and provide high-quality data with conclusions.
• Perform bench-level stability testing and release of test articles.
• Prepare protocols and technical reports in support of regulatory submissions.
• Communicate data effectively in group meetings and reports.
