Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking an Analytical Quality Control Scientist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Petaluma, CA. You will support testing and release of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in a regulated biotech/medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• 5+ years in regulated pharma/biotech/medical device manufacturing.
• GMP laboratory testing and compliant documentation experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with spectrophotometry, pH testing, calorimetry and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and physical testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (spectrophotometers, pH meters, calorimeters, calipers).
• Coordinate receipt, identification, handling, and testing of lab samples; ensure traceability.
• Document results, observations, calculations, and conclusions per procedures.
• Follow GMP requirements and participate in investigations, NCRs and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain clean, inspection-ready lab environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
