Job summary

Union Agener in Augusta, GA seeks a QC Chemistry Technician to join the quality control team. The role supports analytical testing, SOPs, change control, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing to ensure compliant, accurate results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science or 5 years lab experience.
• 2–3 years QC lab experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of cGMP for QC labs preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and handle chemicals/biohazards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating quality systems for analytical testing.
• Provide technical support for continuous improvement in operations via SOPs and change control.
• Assist in training and development of team in safety, cGMP compliance, and on-the-job requirements.
• Review and approve SOPs and analytical data.
• Assess OOS results, determine impact, and drive corrective action.
