Job summary

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in a related field or equivalent lab experience and demonstrates strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow lab procedures and ERP data-entry standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering (or equivalent 3+ years lab experience).
• Experience with Excel, Outlook and Word; ERP data entry in Oracle or SAP.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment and analytical instruments to assess product properties.
• Maintain logs and databases to record and report test data.
• Prepare samples and set up lab equipment for testing.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Gather production samples per quality control procedures.
• Assist in inventory of lab supplies and process requisitions.
• Follow lab procedures and protocols to preserve analytical integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
