Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform chemical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure safety and quality. The role requires an associate’s degree in science or related field, proficiency with Excel/Word, and strong GMP knowledge.

You will operate FTIR, spectrophotometer, refractometer, and pH meters while supporting daily lab operations. The position emphasizes adherence to GMPs, documentation, and collaboration with lab teammates to maintain

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in science or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to interpret and apply GMP regulations.
Strong analytical, decision-making, technical, organizational, planning, and written communication skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.

Responsibilities

Perform chemical testing of raw materials, in-process, and final products.
Set up, calibrate, maintain, and operate lab equipment such as FTIR, spectrophotometer, refractometer, and pH meters.
Assist other laboratory team members with in-process-controls, sampling, and laboratory functions.
Assist with ordering appropriate material and tools for daily operations.
Understand and adhere to GMP regulations and SOPs.
