Qualifications

• Proficiency with analytical laboratory glassware, equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret SOPs.
• Aseptic technique when required.
• Ability to work independently in an organized and reliable manner.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform the receipt, compositing, and organization of samples submitted to SORA Labs. Perform sampling in a GMP environment.
• Perform testing of samples submitted to the laboratory and report results.
• Support OOS investigations through testing and documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and instrumentation.
• Record and peer-review analytical work as required for GMP and accountability.
• Organize and maintain chemical and reagent stocks; keep facilities clean and organized.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste generated during routine functions.
• Cross-train and assist others in performing routine testing of submitted samples.
