Job summary

TMC Industries, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an entry-level Analytical Laboratory Technician to support daily testing in our cGMP laboratory. You will prepare samples and reagents, run basic tests, and help keep the lab safe and organized.

Reporting to the Director of Analytical Services, you will log samples, perform titrations and SOP-guided analyses, maintain calibration logs, and assist with inventory and waste disposal. This is a great starting point to grow your lab skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience accepted.
• Ability to follow written SOPs exactly.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming samples and dispose of retained samples per retention schedule.
• Perform basic tests such as titrations and wet chemistry under SOPs.
• Conduct in-process testing during distillation runs and release testing for production.
• Identify OOS results and report to lab management.
• Calibrate instruments, replace consumables, and log results.
• Stock chemicals, maintain inventory log, dispose of expired chemicals and waste.
• Clean glassware and keep workspaces organized.
• Collaborate with chemists and lab management to learn new instruments and methods.
• Other duties may be assigned.
