The internship provides hands-on experience, mentorship from senior staff, and an opportunity to contribute to meaningful agricultural research while developing practical laboratory skills and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an approved degree program related to agriculture, science or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Follow all laboratory and greenhouse safety protocols.
• Assist with experiments and research under supervision.
• Prepare lab materials and equipment setup.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, data and results.
• Monitor and maintain lab equipment.
• Support data analysis and interpretation using appropriate tools.
• Help maintain a clean and organized lab and manage waste disposal.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Contribute to reports or summaries of findings.
• Safely work with agricultural materials and sterilize equipment.
