Job summary

Aurion Biotech is seeking a highly motivated Scientist II, Analytical Development in Cambridge, MA. You will support development, qualification, and transfer of analytical methods for in-process control and release assays to enable late-stage clinical manufacturing of cell therapies.

The role requires deep expertise in Flow Cytometry, qPCR/dPCR, ELISA, and potency assays, with collaboration across Research, Process Development, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet timeline goals and regulatory

Qualifications

PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience in immunology, biochemistry, cell biology, biotechnology, or related field in pharma/academia.
MS with 4+ years of relevant experience in the same fields.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent lab experiments (Flow Cytometry, cell counting, dPCR, qPCR, ELISA, cell-based potency) to meet AD objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Cell Production, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Support authoring of method qualification SOPs, reports, and test method SOPs for regulatory submissions.
Track progress toward milestones and ensure timely deliverables.
Support development, qualification, and transfer of GMP‑compliant analytical methods and materials meeting FDA/EU requirements.
