Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced chemistry/biology professional for on-site work in the Durham, NC area. The role involves executing analytical tests across multiple methods and serving as a backup for related assays.

Candidates should have a science degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with LC-UV/MS and microfluidics/capillary electrophoresis exposure. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent life sciences degree).
• 3–5 years of experience in analytical testing or related field.
• Experience with analytical methods (LC-UV/MS) to screen and characterize antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs).
• Experience with microfluidics and capillary electrophoresis to conduct protein analysis.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing of assigned analysis type for routine sample submissions using electrophoresis, chromatography, ELISA, qPCR and compendial methods
• Identify and help to resolve equipment and basic test method issues
• Develop expertise to serve as a backup executor of a limited number of other analysis types (other test methods)
• Provide feedback to client on the performance of existing assays / test methods
• Basic lab organization and maintenance
