Job summary

Pharmaron Beijing Co. Ltd. seeks a Scientist II, Analytical Chemistry, to support analytical method development, validation, and transfer on-site in Coventry, RI.

The role focuses on solving moderate complexity analytical problems and supporting client projects with leadership when needed. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (or related field) or MS/BS with substantial pharma experience, with proficiency in HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and Mass Spectrometry, and knowledge of cGMP FDA guidance.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field (no industry experience).
• MS with 3+ years in pharmaceutical industry; BS with 5 years.
• Experience applying analytical skills to method design/development/implementation.
• Proven troubleshooter of technical problems.
• 3 years on core analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, MS).
• Knowledge of cGLP/cGMP and FDA/EMA/ICH guidance.
• Ability to supervise staff and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, transfer, and test analytical methods.
• Troubleshoot moderate to complex analytical issues.
• Review data, notebooks, and instrument QC reports.
• Lead analytical projects and report results at meetings.
• Own equipment and software validation activities.
• Support audits and ensure GMP compliance.
