Job summary

EMD Electronics in Branchburg, NJ, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the Global Analytical Technology group for the analysis and characterization of lithography materials, including photoresists and related components, in Branchburg, NJ.

The role involves developing metrologies, validating CoA methods, evaluating impurity profiles, and supporting New Product Development, with collaboration across R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant science with hands-on analytical equipment experience
• 3+ years' experience with analytical method development and understanding of analysis techniques
• Experience with various analytical instruments and lab operations

Responsibilities

• Explore new metrologies to characterize chemical components of complex mixtures.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for CoA parameters and transfer procedures to production QC labs.
• Evaluate impurity profiles of new raw materials and products.
• Support New Product Development.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams to enable rapid delivery of new products.
• Perform routine and non-routine sample analyses and contribute to data gathering for Process Change Notifications.
