Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemistry or related field with pharma lab experience
• Proficiency in wet chemistry tests, titration, spectroscopy, HPLC, GC and data acquisition systems
• Experience with ICP-MS, Malvern PSD, aPSD, Particulate Matter testing is desirable
• Strong documentation skills with word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Detail-oriented, strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical raw material sampling, testing and release
• Conduct in-process and final product testing including stability and complaint samples
• Assist in method validations and transfers, including cleaning validations
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and batch records, review reports when assigned
• Assist in special projects and regulatory audits as requested
• Collaborate on laboratory SOPs when requested
• Assist in training junior personnel when requested
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation per manual, contact manufacturers when needed
• Maintain overall housekeeping and safe working environment in the Chemistry Laboratory
• Adhere to SOPs, documentation, safety, health, and cGMP guidelines
