Job summary

Natural Alternatives International Inc. seeks a Laboratory Analyst to perform routine analysis of raw materials, in-process bulk, finished products and stability samples using chromatography, spectroscopy and other analytical methods.

You will process, interpret and report testing results in a timely and compliant manner. Responsibilities include sample preparation, instrument maintenance, data entry in LIMS, and peer review of results.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science degree.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in an analytical lab.
• HPTLC, HPLC and ICPMS experience highly desirable; familiarity with Camag, Empower and MassHunter.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of raw materials, in-process bulk, finished products and stability samples using chromatography, spectroscopy and other techniques.
• Process, interpret and report testing results in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP/cGLP and company policies.
• Prepare samples, standards and reagents; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot instruments, and report incidents to supervisors.
