Actalent is hiring a team of Scientists and Analytical Chemists in Deerfield Beach, FL. The Associate Scientist will perform routine analytical testing on pharmaceutical samples, using HPLC and UV-Vis, while maintaining compliant documentation and SOP adherence.

The role supports both first and second shifts, with training on the first shift. This is a contract-to-hire position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL, offering a competitive pay range and standard lab benefits.

Qualifications

BS in Chemistry or related field with 12 years in pharma analysis, or MS with 1 year in pharma analysis.
Proficiency in HPLC techniques for pharmaceutical analysis.
Familiarity with FDA regulations and GMP requirements for laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine analytical testing of finished products, stability samples, raw materials, in-process and process validation samples.
Conduct assays and chromatographic purity tests using UV-Vis and HPLC, plus particle size and water determination tests.
Maintain accurate notebooks and complete analytical reports in compliance with SOPs and cGMP.
