Job summary

ReSource, based in Oakland, CA, seeks an analytical chemist to advance its FDCA-based bioplastics program. You will analyze process samples, develop robust methods, and ensure accurate CoA documentation. The role supports pilot-scale production and quality characterization of novel materials.

The ideal candidate has hands-on lab experience with HPLC/FAAS, NMR, and ICP, plus strong writing and teamwork skills to drive projects from development through validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in chemistry or related field with relevant lab experience.
• Experience validating HPLC and FAAS methods with data interpretation.
• Proficient in using HPLC, NMR, ICP/FAAS for characterization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples from different processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HPLC, FAAS and other analytical equipment.
• Develop methods to quantify products and impurities.
• Create and maintain CoA for different products.
• Specify and acquire new analytical equipment as needed.
