Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our team in a high-throughput quality control environment. The role focuses on analytical testing, method development, and data interpretation with a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities include managing sample analysis timelines, operating ICP, HPLC, GC/MS, and maintaining instruments per GLP/GMP standards, while evaluating new test methods and participating in root cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a technical field with strong Analytical Chemistry background.
• Minimum 5 years in a high-throughput quality control lab.
• Experience with GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage analysis of samples and data within allotted lead time.
• Operate and maintain ICP, HPLC, GC/MS and other lab instrumentation per GLP and GMP procedures.
• Evaluate new test methods and review current methods for improvements.
• Participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
• Communicate lab data and results to other departments, verbally and in writing.
• Work in interdepartmental teams and with affiliate sites.
