Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 2 or 3 - Analytical Chemist (Drug Product) for a full-time, onsite role at a client site in Rahway, NJ. The position includes comprehensive benefits and a focus on GMP-compliant stability testing and analytical method development.

The role requires a BS/MS in chemistry-related fields with relevant experience in HPLC/UPLC, data processing, and SOP maintenance, plus strong collaboration and communication skills for a compliance-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related discipline
• Scientist 2: BS with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Scientist 3: BS with 3-5 years or MS with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with GMP analysis using HPLC/UPLC including assay/impurity, troubleshooting and data processing interpretation
• Routine testing, data integrity assessments, investigative report authoring, and sample management
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Clear communicator who speaks up about problems and improvement ideas
• Able to manage multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation, efficiency, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and stability sample analysis, SOP authoring, and day-to-day problem solving
• Contribute to new technologies and continuous improvement for lab operations and testing requirements
• Apply analytical characterization technologies and compliance principles to drive method robustness and high-quality stability data
