Job description

Job Description: Provides analytical support to client groups. Analytical research and development activities include literature searches, analytical method development, test procedure writing, analytical method validation, and method transfer. Analyzes early stage prototypes, lab samples, pilot plant samples, production samples, stability samples, and competitor samples. Possesses extensive knowledge of laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, AA, Dissolution, IC, etc. Experience required: 0-3 years.

Qualifications

Exposure to or experience with:

• Biohazardous agents (e.g., meningitis, Staph aureus, Lentivirus, Streptococcus pneumoniae)
• Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, Y, W
• Staph aureus
• Streptococcus pneumoniae

Additional comments regarding surveillance/clearance: Potential exposure to Tetanus Toxin. Minimal risk of exposure, but some fermentation samples may contain active cells or toxins.
