Our client, a leading organization in food chemistry testing, seeks an Analytical Chemist for the 3rd shift in Madison, WI. The role focuses on supporting laboratory operations and analytical testing with attention to detail and strong communication, working both independently and with the team.

Responsibilities include performing analyses with UPLC, HPLC, GC, LCMS, maintaining records, and contributing to project discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to work with chemistry materials and food allergens.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply GMP/GLP standards in all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance and quality.
• Learn to conduct routine analyses independently using advanced instrumentation such as UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS.
• Document work accurately and maintain comprehensive laboratory records.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Perform peer reviews of data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

As an Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Food Chemistry Department supporting laboratory operations and analytical testing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Analytical Chemist - 3rd Shift

Location: Madison, WI

Pay Range: $21 + Shift Differential ($23.52/hr)
