Job summary

Astrix, a nationwide leader in high‑quality generic pharmaceuticals, seeks an Analytical Chemist to join their team. The role focuses on analytical testing and method validation in a GMP environment, with emphasis on HPLC, GC, and related wet chemistry techniques.

The position is 1st shift, pay $25-$40/hr DOE, and is Temp to hire. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and at least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing analytics, plus GMP/FDA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry required.
• 3+ years in analytical testing of pharmaceuticals in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
• Experience with HPLC and GC.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing including HPLC, GC, pH, and wet chemistry.
• Document testing results accurately and timely.
• Transfer and validate analytical methods.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Mentor team members on procedures.

Our client is an industry leader in providing high-quality, affordable generic pharmaceutical products nationwide. Our client puts their employees first and has upgraded their equipment to state of the art equipment. They are seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team!

Schedule: 1st shift

Pay: $25-$40/hr DOE

Type of Job: Temp to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing such as HPLC, GC, pH, loss on drying, residue on ignition, Karl Fischer, and wet chemistry techniques
• Document all testing and results
• Method transfer and method validation
• Perform troubleshooting on instrumentation
• Mentor team members on new/revised skills and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
• 3+ years of experience in analytical testing of pharmaceutical products in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge on GMP, USP, and FDA regulations
• Experience with HPLC and GC
• Experience with method validation
