Job summary

Primera Analytical Solutions Corp seeks a hands-on analytical scientist to perform routine and non-routine testing using HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and XRD. The role includes sample coordination, equipment maintenance, and rigorous document control in a fast-paced lab environment.

The candidate will update supervisors regularly and apply scientific expertise to troubleshoot methods and instruments, contributing to pharmaceutical projects and client trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using HPLC, LC-MS/MS, XRD and related techniques.
• Coordinate samples, maintain lab equipment, manage documents, and reconcile requests.
• Provide progress updates to supervisor at scheduled intervals.
• Apply scientific expertise for instrument troubleshooting and investigations.

Job description

Primera Analytical Solutions Corp, founded in 2002, is a contract research organization (CRO) that provides analytical, bioanalytical, formulation development, and clinical trial services to pharmaceutical industries. We have an excellent tracking record with the FDA inspections and successfully completed the analytical work for many ANDAs and NDAs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using various analytical techniques such as: HPLC, LC-MS/MS, XRD, etc.
• Perform routine laboratory responsibilities such as sample coordination, lab equipment maintenance, document management, inventory control, and reconciliation of sample requests/documents as needed.
• Update supervisor on his/her work progress at scheduled intervals.
• Apply his/her scientific expertise for analytical methods/instruments troubleshooting, laboratory investigations, etc.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors in a related science such as Chemistry and related field.
• Previous related hands-on laboratory experience required, from academics or industry experience.
• Ability to work independently and achieve problem resolution with minimal supervision. Attentive to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Good computer skills and profound knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

We are looking for candidates who have previous hands-on laboratory experience from either academics or internships. We are hiring on a rolling basis and hope to have candidates who can start soon.
