About the Role:

BBB3 LLC is looking for a talented and detail-driven Analytical Chemist to join our team in Detroit, MI. Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses using industry-standard instrumentation and techniques for cannabis related products
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods to meet project and regulatory requirements
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, GC, MS, and spectroscopy instruments
• Accurately document experimental data, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and LIMS
• Interpret analytical data and prepare detailed technical reports for internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and quality control standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support R&D, quality assurance, and production goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in an analytical or research setting
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, or UV-Vis spectroscopy
• Strong understanding of method development, validation, and GLP/GMP practices with working knowledge of CRA and ISO requirements
• Excellent attention to detail with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lab environment
