Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a seasoned analyst to support IC compliance evaluation of analytic standards. You will design, test, and administer surveys, analyze data, and prepare tailored briefings for IC elements and Combatant Commands.

Expertise in LimeSurvey and data visualization is essential. Requirements include TS/SCI with Polygraph, a BS or Masters with substantial relevant experience, and proficiency in Tableau, Excel, SPSS.

Qualifications

  • BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience (or Masters with 6–10 years).
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
  • Expertise in LimeSurvey and survey design across platforms.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization using Tableau, Excel, SPSS.
  • Experience advising on intelligence products and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and administer surveys across multiple platforms.
  • Identify suitable survey tools for clients and provide tool recommendations.
  • Address methodological, technological, and ethical aspects (neutrality, precision, repeatability, anonymity).
  • Ensure surveys are accessible and accurate pre-launch; resolve technical issues.
  • Manage survey administration and resolve issues across platforms during the survey period.
  • Consolidate data and provide integrated analysis of survey results.
  • Compile and organize free text responses and run AI/LLM prompts for human review.
  • Develop and present survey findings with visualizations and recommended formats (scatter, donut, stacked charts).
  • Create tailored briefing materials and presentations with aggregate and element-specific data.

Job description

Overview

Our customer requires support to evaluate adherence to Intelligence Community (IC) analytic standards in intelligence products, practices, and processes. This support includes designing, testing, and administering surveys; collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting survey data; and preparing tailored briefings to assist in assessing IC elements, Combatant Commands, and other analytic entities' compliance with analytic standards.

What will you do?
  • Recommend survey design, testing, and administration across multiple platforms.
  • Assist customers in identifying suitable survey tools on various platforms.
  • Offer expert support in methodological, technological, and ethical aspects (e.g., ensuring neutrality, precision, and repeatability of measures; conducting cost-benefit analyses of survey tools; and maintaining respondent anonymity).
  • Ensure accessibility and accuracy of surveys by resolving technical issues pre-launch.
  • Manage survey administration and monitor and resolve all technical issues, including accessibility problems, across platforms during the survey period.
  • Consolidate data and provide integrated data analysis of survey results.
  • Compile and organize element-specific free text responses and run AI/LLM tools with multiple prompts to confirm human review of the free text comments.
  • Develop and present survey findings through appropriate visualization techniques and recommend presentation formats (e.g., scatter charts, donut charts, stacked column charts) to effectively communicate findings to senior management.
  • Develop customized briefing materials and presentations featuring aggregate data, element specific data, and content for key stakeholders
Do you have what it takes?
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph.
  • Typically requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Expertise in survey tools and software (e.g., LimeSurvey).
  • Expertise with survey data analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Excel, IBM SPSS), quantitative methods, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience in providing advisement on intelligence products and processes.

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $140,000-$155,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
