Job summary

Dave & Buster's Inc. is seeking a Treasury Analyst to strengthen corporate finance operations with analytical rigor and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage daily cash across banks, build cash flow forecasts, and support liquidity decisions in partnership with the CFO and Assistant Treasurer.

The role emphasizes improving working capital, debt management, and treasury projects, with opportunities to influence strategic funding and payments modernization across the company.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong interest in finance and capital markets with ability to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, asset management, or related fields.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash position across banks and prepare cash flow forecasts for liquidity.
  • Coordinate daily funding and payments with Treasury team in line with controls.
  • Improve cash flow forecast model by analyzing trends and preparing reports.
  • Identify liquidity risks and present actionable insights to CFO and Assistant Treasurer.
  • Process ACH and check exceptions per controls and protocols.
  • Assist with debt decision making for borrowings and repayments.
  • Serve as bank administrator and relations contact for banking partners.
  • Support stores nationwide for urgent funding needs and depository touchpoints.
  • Evaluate opportunities to optimize working capital and vendor terms.
  • Assess return on excess cash versus debt paydown and stock buybacks.
  • Support treasury projects (new stores, payment modernization, bank rationalization).

Job Description

The Treasury Analyst must be analytical, achievement-oriented and eager to take the company’s treasury operations to the next level with a strong desire to become a remarkable corporate finance professional. Must be a strategic thinker with strong communication, presentation and cross-functional skills, who is adept at relationship development, continuous improvement, problem solving, and project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring daily cash position across multiple banks and preparing cash flow forecast to ensure adequate liquidity
  • Performs all daily funding/payment requirements of the company in direct coordination with the Assistant Treasurer and in line with internal controls and segregation of duties
  • Continuously improves companywide cash flow forecast model, by analyzing cash trends, and preparing periodic cash reports
  • Identifies liquidity risks and presents in a digestible cash model format for actionable insights to Assistant Treasurer and CFO
  • Investigates and actions daily ACH and check exceptions aligned with established controls and protocols
  • Executes on debt decision making of the company for borrowings and repayments
  • Acts as bank admin and relationship contact for all banking partners (e.g. online access, visibility levels, authorized signers, opening/closing accounts, KYC etc.)
  • Supports all D&B and ME stores nationwide for any urgent funding needs or depository vendor touch points (e.g. armored cars, bank vaults etc.)
  • Constantly evaluates improvement opportunities to working capital and provides recommendations to Assistant Treasurer and CFO (e.g. taking advantage of vendor terms in collaboration with AP function of accounting)
  • Strategically assess best return on excess cash versus debt paydown / stock buyback opportunities to minimize cash interest
  • Supports any adhoc company and Treasury projects (e.g. new store opening, payment modernization, bank account rationalization etc.)
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong interest in finance and capital markets with demonstrated ability to communicate with company stakeholders
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in corporate treasury, banking, asset management, corporate accounting, or comparable education
  • Excellent interpersonal & verbal / written communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn and grow into larger roles within corporate finance and willingness to get involved in additional cross functional projects
  • Proactive, self-motivated and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to operational excellence and flawless ethical standards
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft computer tools (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Able to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
  • Desire to pursue or completion of continuing education (e.g. CFA/MBA) a plus
  • Great team player; able to work in cross-cultural/cross-functional teams
