Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support the Account Executive, Distributed Energy Resources and Strategic Accounts teams across three states. You will create reports, analyze cost trends and project performance, ensuring costs are coded and allocated correctly to budgets.

You will collaborate with various departments to align budgets and schedules with corporate goals. Responsibilities include applying project analytics to data, providing forecasts, and supporting billing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or equivalent.
• Three+ years of related experience in project management, financial analysis for large multi-year projects, and billing systems.
• Experience with project management, financial analysis, and billing processes.

• Create reports and analyze trends, project costs, performance, and schedules.
• Forecast costs and ensure proper coding and allocation of costs to budgets.
• Provide billing support across Omni, C2 and LPB for all three states and work with DER and Strategic Accounts teams.

All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.Our new Project Controls Analyst will support the Account Executive, Distributed Energy Resources and Strategic Accounts department on billing issues across all three states.You will be responsible for creating reports, analyzing trends, project costs/performance/schedules, and report on the performance of the Customer Care Organization across all three states.Essential Functions:Works with Strategic Accounts Customer Care Team, Investment Planning, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Materials personnel to ensure overall consistency of project budgets and schedules are in alignment with corporate goals and strategies.Works with Strategic Accounts and DER Team on billing support with Omni, C2 and LPB across all three statesApplies project analytics to project data to describe, predict, and improve business performance.Ensuring the accuracy of all cost information including confirmation that costs have been properly coded and allocated to project budgets.Assists as needed in developing and participating in customer care processes and recommendations for improvementsReviews, evaluations and reports on three state data trendsQualifications:Technical Knowledge/Skill:The individual must be self-starter with a strong sense of self-motivation, possess good communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and direct activities independentlyKnowledge of excel, maximo, financial modeling and project management systemsAbility to monitor and analyze cost and scheduling information, provide forecasts, make recommendations, and communicate effectively at all levels.Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or equivalent work experience.Experience:Three (3) plus years of related experience with experience exposure to Project Management, financial business analysis in relation to managing large complex multi-year projects, and billing systems.Working knowledge of Oracle’s Primavera Unifier Project Controls is desirable.Working knowledge of Omni, C2 and LPB is also desirableWorking knowledge of Maximo is also desirable#LI-ES3#custajdCompetencies:Build trusting relationshipsManage and develop peopleFoster teamwork and cross-functional collaborationLead changeCommunicate strategic visionCreate an engaged workforceFocus on the customerTake ownership & accountabilityCompensation and Benefits:Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.
