Job summary

Job description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Analyst, Procurement As the Analyst, Procurement you will play a critical role in investigating, formulating and implementing sourcing strategies for supply chain through organizational evolution, market assessments and detailed data and spend analyses.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Collects and analyzes data from various sources to help the team identify root cause issues, understand organizational and industry trends, measure supplier performance and uncover areas for improvement
  • Develops strategies to maximize operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness of the entire supply chain
  • Ensures that all sourcing and procurement activities support and are aligned with supply chain strategies
  • Conducts research to assess products and suppliers in terms of best value including price, quality, and performance
  • Provides recommendations and feedback to leadership to improve products and services in terms of supplier selection based on responsiveness, lead time, cost and other buying recommendations
  • Supports and manages relationships with existing suppliers via various communication channels as needed
  • Provides data analysis and supplier performance measurements to the team as a tool to improve supplier effectiveness, uncover potential cost saving opportunities, and improve customer and organizational satisfaction
  • Conducts comprehensive market, supplier, and spend analysis for all assigned categories
  • Navigates and analyzes complex data to identify and pursue supplier opportunities
  • Facilitates strategic supplier relationships and performance through regular supplier business reviews
  • Researches, analyzes and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, styles and products with attention to specified target markets and demographics
  • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement internally and throughout the supply chain
  • Improves quality and delivery by developing and executing supplier improvement plans through monitoring performance regularly and leading key initiatives
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education

- Bachelor’s degree (required); degree within business, accounting, supply chain or business analytics (preferred)

  • 2+ years of related professional experience (required)
