Job summary

National Grid is seeking an Analyst in Procure to Pay based in Syracuse, NY. The role supports purchasing, invoicing, and supplier payments within the supply chain hub, processing billions in payments and thousands of purchase orders.

You will deliver metrics, manage complex issues, and build strong relationships with business partners while driving process improvements and meeting SLAs. The position offers a hybrid office/remote arrangement within the National Grid service territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; PowerPoint, Word and other business software.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and a desire to learn.

National Grid is hiring an Analyst in Procure to Pay based in Syracuse, NY.

About the role

Procure to Pay is the supply chain hub for National Grid, processing $15B in payments each year and 34K purchase orders among many other services performed on behalf of all National Grid employees.

What you'll do
  • Supply chain responsibilities that support the purchasing, invoicing and supplier payment processes.
  • Deliver and maintain team metrics.
  • Manage complex issues and inquiries, share best practices and translate business needs.
  • Provide advice, build influence, develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners.
  • Establish a high level of confidence with stakeholders.
  • Implement process improvements to remove waste and increase value.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with SLAs and metrics.
  • Analyze data to detect trends and forecast future business needs.
  • Review accuracy of work and check that all details are completed.
  • Work independently to understand and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain job aids.

Annual Salary

$67,000-$79,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
