Job summary

The Kansas City Royals seek a motivated Analyst, Player Development - Research & Development to join the Minor League Player Development team. They will work under the Director of R&D to turn baseball data into actionable insights that help develop top talent.

You will oversee the development pipeline, build digestible reports for coaches and players, and communicate findings across the organization. A strong background in SQL and R, plus experience with data visualization, is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SQL and R to query large data sets.
• Strong communication and collaboration with front office, coaches, players.
• Familiarity with modern player evaluation and development metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and run the Player Development pipeline delivering data and reports to the organization on a daily basis.
• Build reports to deliver digestible insights to coaches and players.
• Effectively communicate data with Minor League coaches, staff, and players.
