Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Network Security Analyst with 6+ years of hands-on experience to implement, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise security solutions. The role covers on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, requiring collaboration with multiple teams to uphold secure operations.

You will manage Palo Alto, Zscaler, Illumio, and Check Point technologies, perform risk assessments, and contribute to hardening and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Network Security / Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Experience with Zscaler security solutions.
• Experience with Illumio micro-segmentation.
• Experience with Check Point firewall technologies.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN knowledge.
• Understanding of Zero Trust and threat prevention.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Palo Alto firewalls, including policy configuration, NAT, VPNs, troubleshooting, and rule reviews.
• Administer Zscaler solutions, including Internet Security, ZIA/ZPA policies, user access, troubleshooting, and controls.
• Work with Illumio for micro-segmentation, policy creation, and workload security.
• Manage and support Check Point firewalls, including policies, VPNs, NAT, and rule administration.
• Monitor security events and investigate incidents and anomalies.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and optimization for compliance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and security issues across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid envs.
• Collaborate with Network, IAM, SOC, Cloud, and Infra teams for security implementation.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation, security assessments, and hardening activities.
• Maintain security docs, SOPs, diagrams, and procedures.
• Support audits, compliance and evidence collection.
• Engage in change, incident and problem management processes.
• Stay current with emerging threats and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Zscaler solutions, including Internet Security, ZIA/ZPA policies, user access, troubleshooting, and security controls.
• Work with Illumio for micro‑segmentation, application dependency mapping, policy creation, and workload security.
• Manage and support Check Point firewalls, including firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and security rule administration.
• Monitor network security events and investigate potential security incidents and anomalies.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and optimization in line with security and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and security‑related issues across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with Network, IAM, SOC, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams for security implementation and incident resolution.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation, security assessments, and network hardening activities.
• Maintain security documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support security audits, compliance requirements, and evidence collection.
• Participate in change management, incident management, and problem management processes.
• Stay current with emerging network security threats, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Network Security / Cybersecurity.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Working experience with Zscaler security solutions.
• Experience with Illumio micro‑segmentation and workload security.
• Experience with Check Point firewall technologies.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Understanding of security concepts including Zero Trust, network segmentation, firewall security, threat prevention, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access.
• Knowledge of security incident management, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE
• Check Point CCSA / CCSE
• Zscaler certifications
• Security certifications such as Security+ is an advantage.
