Our client is a prestigious multi-family office in Boston providing comprehensive services, including estate, investment advisory, tax, and cash flow services. The firm manages capital across multiple asset classes and offers sophisticated, customized solutions to a select group of ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients.

Our client is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their team. The Analyst will play a key role in the entire investment process. Responsibilities will include asset allocation, manager sourcing and selection, direct security analysis and trading, co‑investments, and client portfolio management. Analysts will focus on due diligence for new investments, investment performance analysis, execution, manager monitoring, and producing collateral for the Investment Committee and clients. The firm’s investment mandate spans all asset classes, including fixed income, public equities, hedge funds, credit, real assets, private equity, and venture capital across global markets.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diligence on new managers, including evaluating funds, special purpose vehicles, and co‑investments, taking into consideration passive and direct purchase alternatives for desired exposures
  • Actively monitor and cover existing managers and investment positions to ensure ongoing performance aligns with objectives
  • Prepare detailed Investment Committee and client reports to communicate findings, performance updates, and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Support asset allocation modeling and assist with trading and execution for client portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment strategies
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, allocator, or direct PE investing
  • Strong academic background with a demonstrated interest in investing
  • Proven financial analytic and quantitative skills
  • Project management experience with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
