Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a finance professional for its Life Sciences group in Cambridge, MA. The Analyst, Investment Operations will own execution, settlement, and tracking of fund and portfolio transactions, and prepare allocations and fund flows.

The role requires a finance-related bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in asset management, with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. A compensation range of $90,000–$125,000 plus bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Own execution, settlement, and tracking of investment transactions at fund and portfolio level.
• Prepare investment allocations and fund flows.
• Interpret complex fund documents and legal agreements.
• Build automated reporting and reduce manual processes.
• Create and present internal reporting to senior leadership.
• Prepare and review investor materials including forecasts and memos.
• Collaborate with investment team on ad hoc requests.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Valuations, Tax, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Audit, and offshore teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process ownership of the execution, settlement, and tracking of all investment transactions at the funds and portfolio investment levels
• Preparing investment allocations and fund flows
• Interpreting complex fund documents and legal agreements
• Building automated reporting and reducing manual processes
• Creating and presenting internal reporting materials to senior leadership
• Preparing and reviewing materials for investors, including memos, financial forecasts, meeting materials, and presentations
• Working closely with the investment team on various ad hoc requests and projects
• Collaborating with teams across the firm and globe, including Accounting, Valuations, Tax, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Audit, and offshore teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other business-related field
• 1+ years of work experience in the Asset Management or Financial Services industry
• Understanding of investment instruments and key financial metrics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Proven capability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Compensation: Salary: $90,000 – $125,000, Plus Bonus
