Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Analyst to implement and manage environmental compliance systems, ensuring sound and sustainable practices and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role focuses on air, water and waste programs and will interface with regulatory agencies.

You will develop EMS documentation, coordinate audits, and advise site leadership on evolving requirements. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or related Engineering field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook; knowledge of RADIUS and Oracle a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean record over past 3 years.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead air, water and waste compliance programs; primary responsibility for environmental compliance.
• Develop and maintain environmental management systems to meet regulations and corporate standards.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, prepare documentation, schedule testing, and follow up on requirements.
• Manage on-site wastewater treatment and optimize water treatment strategies.
• Support site audits and provide guidance to facilities leadership on changing compliance requirements.

What’s in it for you:

Trane Technologies is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Analyst. The EHS Analyst will be responsible for implementation and management of environmental compliance systems, and will ensure environmentally sound and sustainable work practices, and compliance with corporate, local, state and federal regulations.

What you will do:

• Primary responsibility for Air, Water and Waste compliance with secondary responsibility for safety compliance.
• Create and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, site permits, and to meet corporate standards.
• Primary interface with regulatory agencies, preparing required documentation, scheduling and performing any required testing and providing additional follow-up documentation as required.
• Manage on-site wastewater treatment system; focus on optimization of water treatment strategy and use reduction measures.
• Conducts site assessments for adherence to company policies and programs and compliance with state local and federal regulations.
• Provide support and leadership during audits of the site by state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Provide facility leadership with timely guidance on new or changing compliance requirements.
• The employee will be required to stand and walk through manufacturing and/or laboratory facilities throughout the day. The employee may also be required to climb to elevated positions, or stoop to low levels to make physical observations. The noise level in the facility is moderate.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or related Engineering field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 + years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial setting.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook, knowledge of RADIUS and Oracle a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
