Zenith, part of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join our NY data teams. You’ll collaborate with Analytics and Technology Activation to design and enforce data governance processes that ensure quality and availability across campaigns.
You’ll analyze client reporting needs, document business requirements, and help automate data workflows while leveraging tools like SQL, Python, Tableau and PowerBI. Strong communication and organization are essential.
Zenith is one of Publicis Groupe’s largest media agencies, spanning 95 markets globally with US offices in New York, Burbank, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit. For more than 30 years, we have been at the forefront of media, helping to evolve and reshape the industry. We are highly regarded as a true agency partner by many high-profile brands for our expertise across numerous categories and wide range of capabilities that are unparalleled in the industry. Clients hire us for our track record of excellence in strategic planning, investment, and measurement. We also have specialist offerings, including content, commerce, multicultural and future-proofed data capabilities.
Data Governance collaborates with Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams to design and enforce the processes and protocols used to effectively manage data across our digital ecosystem to ensure quality, consistency, and availability. We also work to understand key decision points so we can ensure the correct business logic is applied, documented, and executed. Once that data is mined, it is used to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re talking to the people they want, and if they’re doing it the right way.
We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to either. Successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a problem-solving mind, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more.
Familiarity with media analytics and data helps, especially digital media, but isn’t necessarily a requirement. Prior professional experience in a data related role is highly preferred.
Analysts form the foundation of the Data Governance team. They work closely with core Analytics teams to understand client media reporting requirements and processes. They also work with other cross functional teams and help implement standardized processes and protocols to enable efficient data management. They behave like Business Analysts who understand the business requirements and are able to produce clear documentation to facilitate automation of data processing.
