Job description

Position Summary:

The Data Analyst, Commercial & Crewmember Technology is responsible for transforming operational, commercial, financial, customer, and crewmember data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and business stakeholders, this role develops analytical solutions that measure business performance, product adoption, operational efficiency, and the value delivered by technology investments. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a highly analytical, intellectually curious, and technically minded early-career professional to contribute across the product lifecycle-from exploratory data analysis and requirements validation through post-implementation performance monitoring and benefit realization. The successful candidate will build reports, dashboards, and analytical models that enable leaders to make data-driven decisions while continuously improving the organization's data assets and reporting capabilities.

The Data Analyst will also be responsible for documenting analytical assets, including datasets, SQL queries, business definitions, reports, dashboards, and methodologies to ensure analytical solutions are reusable, well-governed, and easily maintained. Through collaboration with cross-functional partners, this role will help establish consistent metrics, improve data quality, and provide measurable insights into the return on investment (ROI) of Commercial and Crewmember Technology initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Analyze commercial, operational, financial, customer, and crewmember datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and business insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on new and existing datasets to understand data quality, business meaning, and opportunities for analysis.
  • Develop SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from enterprise data platforms.
  • Process, cleanse, validate, and verify the integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations that communicate business performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop post-implementation monitoring dashboards and recurring analytical reports that measure product adoption, operational performance, customer and crewmember experience, and business outcomes.
  • Perform ROI analyses and develop measurement frameworks that quantify the business value delivered by technology investments.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to define success metrics and establish KPIs for new products, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and present findings, recommendations, and business insights in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Support business case development by providing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Research emerging analytical techniques, artificial intelligence, and automation opportunities that improve reporting, analytics, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners across Commercial, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Crewmember organizations to understand business challenges and develop analytical solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
