The Analyst is a key member of the Treasury & Payment Solutions (TPS) team and provides sales, implementation, portfolio management, analytical, and client support to Treasury & Payment Solutions Vice Presidents and Directors. The role supports assigned client portfolios by coordinating client requests, onboarding and implementation activities, pricing and billing support, Salesforce documentation, Client Business Reviews, and portfolio administration. The Analyst works closely with Sales Officers, Corporate and Investment Banking partners, product teams, implementation partners, documentation teams, and client service colleagues. Success in the role requires strong organization, attention to detail, proactive communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a high volume of work with competing priorities in a fast‑paced client environment.

Sales Officer & Client Support Act as a day‑to‑day support partner to assigned Sales Officers and provide responsive support for client and internal partner requests. Gather and organize information required to advance opportunities through the sales process, including client requirements, product information, implementation details, and supporting documentation. Prepare pre‑call planning materials, client and prospect research, pitchbooks, RFP responses, Client Business Reviews (CBRs), and post‑meeting follow‑up materials. Support client communications regarding product information, pricing, onboarding requirements, implementation status, and service requests, with guidance from the Sales Officer as appropriate. Coordinate internal resources and partners to support sales, onboarding, implementation, and portfolio activities. Provide clear status updates and proactively identify open actions, dependencies, timing risks, and items requiring escalation.

Implementation & Onboarding Support Coordinate onboarding activities, including AML/KYC requirements, account opening, documentation collection, implementation requests, and service setup. Prepare and submit implementation and account‑opening requests using established systems, procedures, and available job aids. Track implementation milestones and follow up with clients and internal partners on outstanding requirements. Coordinate with Solution Delivery Consultants, documentation teams, product partners, and client service teams as appropriate. Validate that required client, product, billing, and documentation information is complete before submission. Escalate delays, risks, client concerns, or unresolved dependencies when additional support is required.

Pricing, Billing & Deposit Support Support preparation of pricing proposals, repricing requests, Deposit Pricing Models (DPM), Pricing Exception Tool (PET) requests, and waiver requests. Gather required financial information and prepare clear supporting rationale for pricing and approval requests, with guidance as appropriate. Assist with preliminary billing reviews, pricing validation, service setup review, and waiver‑renewal tracking. Help confirm that approved pricing, rates, services, and waivers are accurately reflected in client setup and billing. Support accurate documentation and setup practices that reduce operational risk and rework.

Portfolio Management & Salesforce Discipline Maintain accurate and timely Salesforce opportunities, call activity, notes, pipeline updates, and portfolio records. Participate in portfolio review and pipeline discussions with Sales Officers and coverage partners. Track client opportunities, implementation status, pricing renewals, waiver expirations, service changes, and account‑maintenance requests. Support preparation of portfolio reports, client trend analysis, and opportunity identification using available financial and transaction information. Maintain current and complete client documentation in applicable systems and files. Use available internal systems, prior examples, procedures, and job aids to research and validate information before submission or escalation.

Communication, Ownership & Execution Take ownership of assigned work and maintain visibility from intake through completion. Identify next steps, dependencies, risks, and required follow‑up activities with guidance appropriate to experience level. Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and service quality. Communicate proactively when a deadline, client request, or implementation activity is at risk. Ask timely, well‑framed questions and apply prior coaching and available resources to new assignments. Collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and client focus.

Risk, Controls & Client Experience Identify and elevate potential operational, compliance, documentation, implementation, or client‑service risks. Complete assigned work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, and controls. Support timely completion of AML/KYC, account‑opening, implementation, and documentation requirements. Maintain the accuracy and completeness of work products and self‑review deliverables before submission. Contribute to a consistent and professional client experience across communications and deliverables.

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. CTP designation, progress toward CTP, or other treasury‑related certification is an asset.

Experience 1–3 years of experience in treasury management, cash management, banking, implementation support, client service, sales support, operations, risk, analytics, or a related financial‑services environment. Experience supporting corporate, commercial, institutional, or financial‑services clients is preferred. Experience coordinating documentation, onboarding, implementation, pricing, reporting, or portfolio‑management activities is an asset. Experience working in a high‑volume environment with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines is preferred.

Knowledge General knowledge of banking, cash management, or treasury management concepts. Basic understanding of payments, receivables, liquidity, information reporting, fraud mitigation, account services, and digital banking channels is preferred. Basic understanding of onboarding, implementation, account opening, pricing, billing, and client‑service workflows is preferred. Awareness of risk management, compliance, AML/KYC, and operational‑control requirements.

Skills & Competencies Strong organization, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate execution. Ability to manage multiple tasks, establish priorities, and meet agreed deadlines. Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills. Salary: $45,000.00 - $95,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
