Responsibilities

  • Administer OE, spares, and overhaul contracts for commercial and military customers (domestic and international).
  • Complete order review, entry, acknowledgement, and process amendments.
  • Initiate contract review by documenting orders and routing requirements to internal departments.
  • Review contract terms and conditions; conduct preliminary research of issues.
  • Interpret contract language with management and legal as needed.
  • Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate.
  • Maintain custody and order of all contractual documents.
  • Support monthly SIOP meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard contract processes.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance regarding contract matters.

Business Overview

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Control (SEC) provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage.We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs.
This role is based at our Forest, Ohio facility, which specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced thermal management systems and heat exchangers for commercial and military aircraft. Our Forest, Ohio location delivers engineered aerospace components, subassemblies, and system solutions for OEMs and operators worldwide, supporting both new production and aftermarket needs. The team is committed to high-quality manufacturing, reliable performance, and meeting the specialized requirements of each customer.

Position Summary

The Contract Administrator’s primary responsibilities are account management, customer point of contact, and overall administrative liaison.

  • This position ison site in Forest, OH
  • The Forest site operates in the Eastern time zone with core hours of 8am-5pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administration of OE, spares and overhaul and repair contracts for a diverse range of commercial and military customers both domestic and international.
  • Complete order review, entry, acknowledgement, and process amendments.
  • Initiates the Contract Review process by documenting the customer’s order and contract flow-down requirements and routes those requirements to the appropriate internal departments.
  • Perform preliminary review and analysis of contract terms and conditions as well as conduct preliminary research of specific contract issues.
  • Perform preliminary review of various contractually binding documents: MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), MOI (Memorandum of Intent), NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and PIA (Proprietary Information Agreement) in coordination with Management.
  • Ensures that the obligations of the contract are fulfilled throughout the duration of the contract. Conducts routine review and response to customer contract demands in coordination with the Sales, Contracts and Customer Service groups.
  • Interpret contract language and consult with management and corporate legal as needed for matters requiring legal interpretation.

  • Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate.
  • Maintain custody and order of all contractual documents.
  • Maintains phone and written communication with customers relative to contract issues.
  • Utilize customer portals to obtain purchase orders and schedules, enter commits and manage scorecards.
  • Meet customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships while focused on risk and cost control, to contribute to organizational profitability and success.
  • Support Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance regarding contract matters, regulatory issues, government contracting, and commercial contracting.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard process and procedure of the contract administration function.
  • Support monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree, plus to 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Extremely strong customer service skills, strong business acumen and positive attitude required.
  • High volume contract award environment. Fast‑paced, multi-tasker with superior organization skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required – Excel Mastery is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Syteline ERP system strongly preferred.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Previous contract administration experience in the aerospace industry.
  • FAR and government contracting experience and knowledge preferred.
Physical Requirements (Lifting, Bending, Stretching, etc.)
  • Ability to walk, stand and sit for periods of time.
  • Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
  • Must be capable of withstanding long periods of viewing data on a computer screen and/or in paper format.
  • Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel.
