Job summary

CreditSights is seeking an Analyst to join the Consumer team based out of Denver. You will support sector and market analysis, monitor credit fundamentals, maintain models, and prepare slide decks for client meetings.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in credit research or related fields, strong numeracy and writing skills, and comfort with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT). A bachelor’s degree is required; CFA progress is a plus.

CreditSights is currently seeking an Analyst to join the Consumer team based out of Denver

The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to supporting the Consumer coverage effort, including sector and market analysis, monitoring credit fundamentals, maintaining models using public and proprietary data, canvassing multiple news sources for relevant stories and information, relative value analysis across companies, writing research reports (thematic research and company-specific reports), preparing slide decks, and participating in meetings with an array of client types.

Applicants must possess strong numeracy, critical thinking, and writing skills, have demonstrated interest in the capital markets and comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to accelerate, optimize, and/or automate workflows.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Contribute to data analysis and writing of research reports.
  • Build, update, and maintain models and databases.
  • Interpret credit market data for portfolio recommendations.
  • Monitor debt capital market conditions across US investment grade, high yield, and broadly syndicated loans.
  • Prepare presentation materials for clients/participate in client meetings.
You May Be a Good Fit If
  • Educated to a bachelor’s degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of financial markets and experience analyzing capital markets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in a credit research, economics, investment banking, or debt capital markets role.
  • CFA charterholder or demonstrated progress toward attaining a CFA charter.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and/or FactSet.
  • Capable of producing high-quality outputs under pressure and in a timely manner.
