Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Columbus, OH seeks an Analyst for Commercial Loan Processing. This role supports mortgage funding, updates systems, and resolves payment discrepancies for Mezzanine and SOFR loans. Strong detail orientation and legal document interpretation are essential.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business/finance and about three years of related CRE experience. Work is primarily in-office with some remote days in a hybrid arrangement.

The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location: Columbus: One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215. Training schedule: 4 days in office. Work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote with flexibility to come in 4 days. This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Education: Undergraduate studies in business, finance, or related field.
Experience: Three years of related experience in commercial real estate.
Ability to understand and interpret legal documents. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other software as needed. Self‑starter, proactive, and demonstrate a high ability to learn on the fly. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence. Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Nationwide pays on a geographic‑specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range. Actual compensation may be prorated based on the number of hours worked relative to a full‑time schedule.
