Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an Analyst/Associate for Private Strategies (CRE Equity Acquisitions) in New York. The role spans acquiring new properties, structuring opportunities, and managing existing CRE assets for various vehicles.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant investment banking, real estate operator, finance/accounting, or real estate private equity experience.
• Asset-level underwriting, valuation, asset management or real estate sponsor-developer/accounting backgrounds preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting and managing development, execution, and status updates of business plans including extensions, refinancing, and dispositions.
• Maintain thorough understanding of all allocated business plans and manage complex investment and valuation models for positions within the portfolio.
• Prepare Investment Committee memos and presentations for acquisitions and business plan executions with scenario analysis.
• Prepare periodic valuations of CRE assets and compile portfolio roll-ups and performance metrics for reporting.
• Support sale and refinance processes including engaging brokers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, due diligence, and closing.
• Interface with Risk, Portfolio Management, Finance, and other departments to ensure holistic execution of investment objectives.
• Assist senior team members in relationship management with operators, JV partners, and service providers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality work and efficient executions.

Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance. Salary Range: $ 110,000.00 - $ 180,000.00
