ORIX USA in Dallas seeks an Asset Management Analyst to support the REIS Group's efforts in managing bridge loan positions collateralized by commercial properties. You will monitor borrower compliance, analyze operating statements, rent rolls, DSCR and other metrics, and assist with reporting and inquiries, including site inspections if needed.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Real Estate/Finance, at least 1 year CRE experience, strong MS Office skills, and a highly analytical, customer-focused

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a real estate/finance-related field.
  • 1+ year CRE experience preferred with institutional lenders or REITs.
  • Strong financial analysis and accounting fundamentals.
  • Excellent customer service and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor borrower loan compliance and post-closing obligations.
  • Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, DSCR and other metrics.
  • Assist borrowers on servicing inquiries and document prep with Counsel.
  • Prepare payoff quotes and reserve fund disbursements.
  • Support senior management reporting and loan-mod settlements.
  • Inspect collateral and review third‑party inspections nationwide.
  • Monitor loan covenants and delinquency trends monthly.
  • Participate in department and company projects as needed.

Purpose and Job SummaryUnder the direction and supervision of the Senior Director of Asset Management, the Analyst supports the Asset Management team within ORIX USA’s Real Estate Investment Strategies (REIS) Group. The group manages bridge loan positions collateralized by commercial, income producing properties and requires knowledge of multiple asset classes—including multifamily, senior housing and healthcare, commercial, and manufactured housing. The role is primarily performed from the Lender or Servicer perspective—assisting asset managers in ensuring compliance with financial, contractual, and legal requirements, processing borrower requests, and analyzing and reporting on credit risk. The employee may also conduct site inspections.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor Borrower compliance with loan requirements, including timely submission of financial statements and fulfillment of post-closing obligations.Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, and other information to determine EGI, NOI/NCF, DSCR, DY, physical and economic vacancy, and other relevant performance metrics and report results accurately and on time.Assist with Borrower inquiries on all servicing matters.Coordinate preparation of post-closing legal documents with internal and external Counsel and review the same.Prepare payoff quotes in accordance with established terms within the loan documents.Prepare disbursements of reserve funds.Assist in preparation of senior management reporting.Prepare settlement statements for loan modifications.Inspect physical collateral and review third-party inspections of physical collateral including properties located nationwide.Monitor loan covenants.Conduct monthly monitoring of payment delinquencies.Prepare requests for system updates.Participate in department, division, and company projects and duties as requested.Possess and apply knowledge of the REIS Group’s policies and procedures.Perform other projects and duties as assigned.Education, Skills & ExperienceBachelor of Science degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.Minimum one-year commercial real estate experience is required, preferably with an Institutional Lender, REIT or PE Firm.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of commercial/multifamily mortgage lending and commercial real estate finance.Knowledge of financial analysis and basic accounting principles required.Must demonstrate critical thinking and be highly analytical to effectively diagnose problems and identify appropriate solutions.An excellent customer service attitude demonstrated by an ability to produce high quality deliverables, in an accurate and timely manner, to internal and external stakeholders.Possess excellent organizational skills in order to meet deadlines and achieve goals.Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and adjust priorities, as needed.Life at ORIXWe are committed to the health and well-being of our employees and offer a quality, competitive benefits package that provides valuable healthcare and financial protection for our workforce, while emphasizing a healthy work/life balance.You TimeWe want you to have the time needed to recharge and manage life with our competitive vacation policy, floating personal holidays, extensive leave options, our annual observed holidays, and more.Family CareEvery family has a different journey and ORIX USA Group is proud to offer extensive benefit programs such as: infertility coverage, adoption support, child and elder care, fully paid maternity, and generous parental leave benefits to help you and your families along the way.Flexible Work ArrangementsORIX associates enjoy the advantages of our hybrid working model with a 3 day in-office minimum requirement.ORIX USA is an equal opportunity employer, providing equal employment opportunities (EEO), and is committed to diversifying its workforce.
