CreditSights, a Fitch Solutions company, seeks an Analyst to join the A&D / Transports team based in New York. You will contribute to sector and market analysis, monitor credit fundamentals, and help build models using public and proprietary data.

You’ll write research reports, prepare client-ready slide decks, and participate in meetings with banks, institutions, and funds. Strong numeracy, writing, and comfort with AI tools are essential for accelerating workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong numeracy and writing skills.
• Interest in capital markets and ability to analyze credit data.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and FactSet is a plus.

CreditSights is currently seeking an Analyst to join the A&D / Transports team based out of New York.

The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to supporting the Aerospace & Defense / Transports coverage effort, including sector and market analysis, monitoring credit fundamentals, maintaining models using public and proprietary data, canvassing multiple news sources for relevant stories and information, relative value analysis across companies, writing research reports (thematic research and company-specific reports), preparing slide decks, and participating in meetings with an array of client types.

Applicants must possess strong numeracy, critical thinking, and writing skills, have demonstrated interest in the capital markets and comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to accelerate, optimize, and/or automate workflows.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Contribute to data analysis and writing of research reports.
• Build, update, and maintain models and databases.
• Interpret credit market data for portfolio recommendations.
• Monitor debt capital market conditions across US investment grade, high yield, and broadly syndicated loans.
• Prepare presentation materials for clients/participate in client meetings.

You May Be a Good Fit If

• Educated to a bachelor’s degree level or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of financial markets and experience analyzing capital markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.

What Would Make You Stand Out

• 1-3 years of prior experience in a credit research, economics, investment banking, or debt capital markets role.
• CFA charterholder or demonstrated progress toward attaining a CFA charter.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and/or FactSet.
• Capable of producing high-quality outputs under pressure and in a timely manner.

FOR NEW YORK

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and 80,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
