Overview

Job title: Analyst, Investment and Portfolio Management (experience-focused role within MRP Realty). This role provides exposure to the investment process, including acquisitions, asset management, and development. The Analyst will engage in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and market research to support MRP’s investment decisions.

Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct underwriting for new investment opportunities, including both income-generating assets and development projects.
• Build and maintain financial models, including discounted cash flows, joint venture structures, and sensitivity analyses.
• Assist with due diligence and closing activities, collaborating with brokers, property managers, and lenders.
• Create and update financial reporting packages for MRP’s capital partners.
• Conduct market research and analyze macroeconomic and local trends to shape investment strategies.
• Develop business plans and prepare investment memos for internal presentations and investment committees.
• Utilize Argus to input market and property assumptions for cash flow projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, or capital markets.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
