Job summary

Gallagher Re, part of the Gallagher family, seeks an Actuarial Analyst for its REACH Program in Rolling Meadows, IL. The two-year full-time role focuses on building expertise in reinsurance broking and risk management through structured training and mentorship.

You’ll collect and analyze large datasets, contribute to pricing models, and learn advanced financial modeling while collaborating with executives and a global network of colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, etc.)
• At least one actuarial exam passed, and a clear intention to pursue an ACAS/FCAS designation
• Comfort with various software tools to work efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL, five times for training (expenses covered)
• Preferred: internship or work experience in a related field
• Interest in reinsurance broking and risk management
