Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Staff or Principal AMS Design Verification Engineer to lead co-simulation and verification for complex SOCs. You will define the EDA environment, develop models, and drive innovative verification strategies in a collaborative, safety-focused culture.

You will create Verilog/SystemVerilog test benches, support analog/digital teams, and perform AMS simulations across multi-node processes. Relocation and up to 10% travel are included where needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on CMOS analog mixed-signal design and verification.
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog modeling of analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
  • Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso for schematic creation and simulation.
  • Proficient with Python and MATLAB.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Staff or Principal AMS Design Verification Engineer to lead the mixed-mode design verification methodology. You will be responsible for defining the co-simulation EDA environment, the methodology to simulate complex SOCs, and for developing models for co-simulation, contributing to innovative solutions that drive Blue Origin's mission of enabling millions to live and work in space for the benefit of Earth.

- This role is based on site in San Diego (preferred), CA; the Bay Area, CA; or Renton, WA. A temporary remote work exception is approved while our Bay Area and San Diego sites are being developed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in CMOS analog mixed-signal circuit design and verification.
  • Verilog / SystemVerilog modeling of functional behavior of analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
  • Proficient using EDA tools and environments such as Cadence Virtuoso for schematic creation and simulation.
  • Proficient with scripting / programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with AMS verification in advanced FinFET technology nodes

Base Pay Range for:

CA applicants is $230,398.00 - $322,556.85WA applicants is $230,398.00 - $322,556.85
