Job summary

Cirrus Logic in Austin, TX, is seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer to join our hardware team designing high-performance data converters and amplifiers for consumer audio. Your primary focus will be delta-sigma ADCs and DACs, with opportunities to work on amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and related circuitry in advanced CMOS processes.

You will model analog circuits in Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog; simulate with Spectre and ADEXL; and verify at chip level using mixed methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC development.
• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC development.
• Strong CMOS analog design and layout.
• Strong s-domain and z-domain analysis skills.
• Proficient in Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog.
• Organized with strong communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop CMOS mixed signal circuitry from concept to production.
• Modeling analog circuits in Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog.
• Simulating and verifying circuit performance and functionality using Spectre and ADEXL.
• Simulating and verifying at the chip level using analog on top and digital on top methodologies.
